WHO'S WHO?
In the Bible (1 Corinthians - Chapter 12) it tells us that every single member of the
Church is equally important. It's probably not practical to list every member of St Chad's here on the website,
but here are a few people who may be helpful if you have any questions or queries about life in the St Chad's community!...

hiring our Church Hall, having a loved one's name entered in our Memorial Book or helping ensure the future
of our wonderful church buildings...
St Chad's Church Building
St Chad's church building
is a Grade II Listed Building whose history is detailed on our History page. We have recently completed a major refurbishment work to the Church building after a kind bequest and a major fundraising
campaign within the parish. We would like to say a HUGE WELL DONE to all the members of St Chad's
Parish, especially those who are not necessarily regular Church goers, but people who have recognised the value of the church
within the local community and donated kindly with the wish for the church to remain in good repair, for future generations
to enjoy.

Memorial Book
Situated
in the rear of the Church beside the entrance to the Clergy Vestry, we have a memorial book standing in a wooden display box.
This is a special and unique way of recording within St Chad's Church the memory of a loved one who has died. It is a
welcome option for those who are not represented in other ways for example: a gravestone. For a small donation the
name and date of birth will be entered in calligraphy on the page dated with the date of death. Please contact
the Parish Office for details.

Keeping St Chad's for the Future
St. Chad’s is
very important to people in the parish. The Church is there for all the people of the parish for regular worship, marriages,
baptisms, and funerals. It is a comfort in times of trouble,
a peaceful place to sit and reflect, and a focus for friendship and spiritual well-being.
If you want to ensure St Chad’s Church is there to serve the parish in the
years to come, do consider joining the Friends
or donating to the Church in some other way. We are part of the government’s Gift Aid Scheme
and have the facilities to accept electronic donations.
Please contact us if you think you could help keep our lovely Church
working hard to help the present and future people of Lichfield!
